Art Show and Open House
Friday, May 18, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ipswich Public
Library, 25 North Main Street.
The
event will feature an art exhibit that includes the works of Dow,
Kenyon, Richardson, Townsend, Reinert, and Humann; all on loan from
the Ipswich Museum. There will also be a juried show "Ipswich
Springs Alive with Art", featuring work by local Ipswich Artists,
This event is free and open to the public.

Garden Club Annual Plant Sale
Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hall-Haskell
House, South Main Street. In the event of rain, the sale will be
held in Boone Hall, Ascension Church, 31 County Street.

GMAS Karate Open House
Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at GMAS, 195 High
Street. Dojo presentation will start at noon!
The
event will include: Introduction to Self-Defense techniques, Games
and special prices for KIDS, and Major promotional discounts for adults.
Snacks and refreshments for ALL. Weather permitting it will be held
outside, up front of the dojo.

Movie Showing in Ipswich!
Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 7:30 PM at the Ascension Memorial Church,
31 County Street.
Ipswich Music and Drama Association (IMADA) presents the original
silent film classic: THE GENERAL, starring Buster Keaton with
live organ accompaniment by master organist David Briggs.
Tickets at-the-door: $10.00 adults, $5.00 seniors and students. All
proceeds benefit
IMADA.

Friends of the Library Museum Passes
The
Friends of the Library have purchased two new museum passes for the
Sports Museum at the TD Garden in Boston. Each pass will admit six
people and can be reserved now. The museum is not open when events
are scheduled at the Garden.
